Rosepine
Located in Vernon Parish, Rosepine is a small, tight-knit community in the piney woods of Southwest Louisiana, about 13 miles south of Leesville. The landscape shifts noticeably here from the flat, wet lowlands of South Louisiana — the terrain is higher, the air a bit drier, and the pine forests give the area a distinct feel from the rest of the state. Rosepine is a community where many residents work north and south of town, and faith is central to daily life.
